Colin Carroll: BSc, MA, Dip Corporate Law

Business Law

After working for Mark McCormack’s International Management Group in London, Colin established his own television production companies. These operated in the UK, France and Ireland.  Later still, after years spent in South America, Colin launched a magazine in Spain.  Upon returning to Ireland, he became a lecturer in business at the Cork Institute of Technology where he was also commissioned to carry out a critical appraisal of their degree programmes. At the same time, Colin carried out research and development in nutraceuticals at the Business Innovation Centre operated by Enterprise Ireland. This led to commencement of studies in law after which he became a solicitor.

Multi Media

Colin featured on TVs Dragons Den promoting a quirky sports business prior to the London Olympics of 2012.

Consistently involved in entrepreneurial start-ups, Colin prides himself on protecting a business’ interests through installing the necessary legal frameworks while taking a keen interest in a business’s day to day operations.

The Cork law firm is recognised internationally as a leading business law firm supplying a range of commercial legal services to individuals, partnerships and corporations. Working alongside his father, Emeritus Professor of Law, Colin has gained an in-depth knowledge of various industries and, in particular, concerning aspects of commercial exploitation and protection of Intellectual Property Rights.
